(“NOP” or the “Company) (CSE: NOP), a BC based company engaged in the
exploration for organic, sedimentary raw rock phosphate, is pleased to announce
the appointment Garry K Smith, P.Geo to the Board of Directors.
“Garry will help strengthen the Board’s focus on identifying and achieving strategic
corporate growth initiatives to create shareholder value with his proven track record of
deposit discovery, resource delineation and evaluation, project generation and
acquisitions, and a reputation for building and leading successful discovery oriented
multidisciplinary teams” stated Robin Dow, Chief Executive Officer of NOP.
“I am excited to oversee exploration, development, and economic evaluation of NOP’s
prospects with an initial focus on advancing the Murdock Mountain Rock Phosphate
Project” added Mr. Smith. His duties will include:
– Contributing to the formulation and implementation of strategic plans
– Oversight of all the exploration activities and review and evaluation of potential
new projects and opportunities
– Oversight and organization of QA/QC protocols, data management, preparation
of geological models and associated information for use in NI 43-101 compliant
Resource Estimates, Preliminary Economic Assessments and Feasibility Studies
– Acting as the Qualified Person for the Company’s Technical Reports, News
Releases and Presentations
The Company also announces the resignation of Patricia Purdy as a director and the
corporate secretary of the Company, as well as Edwin Beaman and Michael Newman as
directors. The Company wishes to thank Ms. Purdy, Mr. Beaman and Mr. Newman
for their years of faithful service and commitment to the Company throughout its
development, and wish all of them well in their future endeavours.
